Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information MixWRLD collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English on purpose.
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address, a display name, your handle, and your account type (artist or listener). Your password is never stored by us in readable form — our authentication provider stores it securely hashed. If you sign up with Google instead, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not access anything else in your Google account.
Content you upload
If you upload mixtapes, audio files, cover art, avatars, banners, or build playlists, we store that content so the service can display and play it. Comments, likes, and follows are also stored. Published mixtapes, artist profiles, and public playlists are visible to anyone. Private playlists are only visible to you (and to signed-in viewers on your profile, as the platform allows).
Usage data
We record track plays and downloads, basic sign-up events, and simple security records (such as rate-limiting) used to keep the service running and prevent abuse.
Support and safety
Messages you send through in-app support, reports you submit about content or accounts, and moderation records are kept so we can respond to you and keep the community safe.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit so we can notify you.
Emails we send
We send account and service emails such as address verification, password resets, and notifications. We keep a log of emails sent. Non-essential emails include an unsubscribe link you can use at any time.
AI features
Some features — such as the artist assistant and banner image tools — send the relevant text or images to an AI provider to generate a result for you. Only the content needed for that feature is sent.
Service providers
Your data is stored with our database, authentication, and file storage provider (Supabase), and the app is hosted by Lovable. Google is used for optional sign-in. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Browser storage
We use local storage and cookies only to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising trackers.
Your choices
You can request access to or deletion of your account and data through in-app support. Deleting an account removes your profile and uploaded content. We keep data while your account is active and as needed for security and legal obligations.
Children
MixWRLD is not intended for children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
